What we sell

The same cold-formed steel line US Frame Factory publishes on its homepage: structural metal studs and track, engineered trusses, prefabricated wall panels, drywall studs, fasteners, clips, sheet metal, strapping, and coil. Custom lengths up to 56 feet, cut to the 1/16 inch. Typical custom-length lead time is under a week.

On the Guyana line, roll-formers run webs from 1-5/8 inch to 14 inch, flanges from 1-1/4 inch to 3-1/2 inch, gauges 10 through 28. US Frame Factory publishes that panelizing can save up to 50% of build time, and that kits can be assembled with a drill and screws. Trusses: clear spans up to 80 feet, back-to-back C-shape typically up to 40 feet. Sources: engineered metal trusses and residential steel framing kits.

Coatings and wind for cold-formed steel Caribbean projects

US Frame Factory ships standard G60 or G90 galvanized coatings. The international page says that coating is suited to humid environments. Trusses can be engineered for hurricane-level wind loads. The engineering page states trusses can be manufactured for up to 220 mph winds, including High Velocity Hurricane Zone work in south Florida and the Caribbean islands. How a Caribbean job works

  • Send drawings. Architectural plans are enough to start.
  • Estimate and take-off. We run material take-offs from the plans.
  • Engineering. Shop drawings and stamped engineering are available. US Frame Factory names IBC, ASCE 7, AISC 360, AISI S100, and ACI 318 on its engineering page.
  • Roll and fabricate. In-house roll forming. Custom members or prefabricated panels.
  • Ship and stand. US Frame Factory publishes container shipping to Caribbean ports and typical transit of 15 to 30 days. Guyana production is listed at Cove and John.
